When it comes to Internet Marketing for beginners, there’s no better way to guarantee your success than by building a loyal, targeted database of opt-in subscribers.
Once you have a list you own it! Nobody can take it away from you. There aren’t too many other business assets you can say the same thing about. For most businesses, you can quickly see a dramatic turn in sales and/or profits (virtually overnight) if big competition happens to settle into your market. It happens everyday in every industry imaginable. Think about all those small grocery stores in all those small towns across the country… and think about what happened when Wal-Mart opened.
But once you build a list of “permission based” opt-in email subscribers… it doesn’t matter how much competition you have in your market. You’ve already built a rock solid foundation: A strong customer base eager and willing to hear from you over and over again.
You can provide periodic emails with your unbiased opinion about certain products you’ve used or recently discovered that might benefit them in some way. Of course, you’d have your affiliate link embedded in the offer just in case a few might want to purchase the product for themselves… CHING!
You can begin creating your own information products and offer them a discount for being a part of your list of loyal customers… CHING!
You can offer your services at a discounted rate for a limited time to subscribers only… CHING!
You can inform them about new promotional materials you have for your affiliates (who… by the way earn a percentage of all sales they generate) and if anyone is interested they can sign up and start promoting some of your products and services… CHING! CHING!
I hope you get the point I’m trying to make here. Don’t approach your list as simply a list of names only there to make you money. Develop a relationship with your list and truly work on helping them achieve their goals as well. I see too many people who email their list every single day and all they send them are offers to other products. How is someone supposed to find benefit in that? Provide some useful content as well. Add some personality too!
If you do, then chances are you’ll have a goldmine of opportunity at your disposal in no time. Simply put: just care a little! Do the right thing. Before you know it you will have a responsive, targeted list eager and willing to spend money with you at will.
Okay Erik, I get it… But how do I build a list?
Answer: With a Squeeze Page.
So what exactly is a squeeze page? What does it do? And why do you need one?
Well, a squeeze page is a page created specifically to capture leads.
Think about it like this: in “the real world” any time you interact with someone you always learn something about the person you are interacting with… it’s a two-way street. A handshake, a conversation, an exchange of business cards, whatever. It’s a two-way street.
On the Internet it’s very different.
If you don’t have a squeeze page that ‘prompts’ people to share a little something about themselves you are losing hundreds of business opportunities as people browse through your website and learn about YOU… without so much as leaving their name! You need a page that entices visitors to enter their name and Email Address and join your list.
The beauty is you can meet people through your squeeze page by simply inviting them to introduce themselves to you by leaving their name and email address. In return you give them something of value that can be downloaded instantly.

How do you perceive your online business? Is it something that you like to think about, or does it make you cringe when you hear the words “internet marketing”? Back in the day when I was first starting off with my internet business, whenever someone suggested a marketing strategy to do, I would do it, and then just sit back and watch for a few days to see if it worked or not.
Then after 3 days of waiting and not doing any other marketing technique, I was convinced that the technique didn’t work at all. I would then resort to pay per click advertising as a way to see instant results, but all I was doing is draining my money in this potentially profitable medium.
I can’t tell you how often I started with an online business idea and then would stop the idea because I thought it didn’t work. I guess I was just immature at the time, but now that I’ve failed so much and have grown as a person… I’m much more patient. So I’m willing to do strategies and techniques that were once thought of as “ineffective” in my business because I want to be in business for the long haul.
If you’re struggling in your online business, you need to be in it for the long haul. And being in it for the long haul means creating goals, and then taking action on these goals so that you can experience the sales and profits that you want in your business. Do you know how to set goals in your business? If not, then I want to share with you a few tips that you can start setting goals in your business today. Here’s the first tip:
1) Imagine success
This is a fundamental step that you need to be doing everyday in your business. Even if you were at the point where you were getting lots of sales, you should still imagine yourself becoming even more successful. This is very important if you want to experience large gains in your income.
Visualize yourself in a brand new car, beautiful home, a beautiful family, and an autopilot business. The more you can put your business on autopilot, the more you will profit because you gain more free time along with income – thereby setting your days up to be free while you’re off doing the things that you enjoy doing. Here’s another tip:
2) Stay positive
Even when things aren’t going your way, you have to keep pressing on. Think about it this way: If you do a free marketing strategy today, and it lands you 2 new email subscribers per day, wouldn’t you want to do it more so that you can boost that email subscriber count up to 50 per day?
Now you won’t get 50 subscribers right away strictly off of free marketing. If you wanted to get 50 subscribers per day, you would probably need a monthly advertising budget of around ,000 dollars. If you don’t have that kind of money to spend on advertising, then you will have to resort to free marketing. There’s nothing wrong with this – it will just take some time to build up your subscriber count with these numbers.
Goal setting is very important when it comes to internet marketing. Be patient and have faith in your business and marketing efforts, and you will be good to go.

At one point in my life, I actually did contemplate looking for a weekend career to help support my family. I ultimately decided against it because the money that I would make on a part time basis did not come close to the value that I placed on spending real time with my family.Working the weekend jobs did not meet my literal criteria:- Would I be able to spend as much time as possible watching my children grow up?- Would working weekend jobs grow into something more where I would develop an additional skill set and ultimately become more marketable?- Was the money that I would make with these weekend jobs really worth my time?- Would I be able to leverage my time or would I be working simply dollars for hours?With a growing kin a mortgage, retirement, & funding our kids instruction were and continue to be our highest priorities funds wise. When I decided to find a way to make more payout, I weighted the pros & cons of starting an internet marketing business. Some of the questions that I asked myself included:- What type of initial investment would I want in order to be successful?Nearly all internet marketers begin out very simply with a few tools; wordpress blog, hosting account, autoresponder, and some basic sweat equity. As you make dough, you can add additional devices but these are the basic material to start and will cost you a few hundred dollars for the year.- When could I find time to work my organization?I thought about this and the best duration that I could work this in the opening was at night after my kids went down. It’s usually after 10 at night and I work a few hours. Of course I had to get up early the next day and go to work but it was worth it because I was slowly building an asset and growing my skillset.- Would I be able to leverage my span after working this internet marketing company hard for a few years?Yes. After working your internet marketing business part time for a few years and constructing your skills, you can begin to earn dough on autopilot where you work hard initially but reap the rewards in terms on money for months going forward.- Are other folks successful in this line of business?Yes. There are a ton of people that are quite ahead of the game online and are making flourishing living marketing products & services online.- Would creating an internet marketing organization be more valuable in the long run compared to working weekend jobs?Definitely! Working weekend jobs will give you simple a paycheck but working an internet marketing business online will provide you with an additional skillset and ongoing passive income based on your hard work in the beginning.- Would I be able to spend more time with my family?Yes sir! Working an online corporation will eventually grant you leverage where you can earn income passively, residually, and real time. Leveraging your efforts just makes sense in this ever changing economy.Really, the name of the game is spending span with your friends and family – not sitting in traffic all day and hating an employment. It’s about independence and living life to the fullest.Now that I have gone thru some of the questions that you need to ask if you were looking for weekend jobs, you might we wondering what internet marketing really is.Well, let me give you just a few examples that real people make salary with each & every day with internet publicity (I don’t see many breaking the bank working the weekend jobs):1. Network Publicity – you can start a network marketing business and focus on pr your products & services online. The initial investment for many network marketing businesses is 0 or less so to start your own business is very reasonable. You can easily recoup your initial investment within the 1st month.2. Amazon Affiliate Marketer – you can become an affiliate with amazon.com and retain their products & services. Many people create websites online and promote these products and make a full time income.3. 8. Use search engines to look for the right website that can host your add. Always choose the top search engines. Learn the strategy of pay per click, by using pay per click you can make traffic for your website. Link your ads to the worlds most visited sites like Yahoo. Example, Placing ads and paying the website that you link your ads to it would only cost you a little amount of money compared to the traffic and the benefits that pay per click can do for your website.

Tired of not quite making ends meet? Internet marketing for moms who stay at home is not as difficult as you first think. Whether you are a part-time working mom, full time working mom, or you aren’t employed at all, you can supplement your income through marketing online. That’s just what I’m doing.
My husband and I decided, before we had children, that one of us would stay home with our two children until they were all of school-age. That was our ideal–unfortunately the reality of our situation caused us to reconsider. My husband’s firm recently cut back his work hours, they’re trying to keep all employees on at a slightly reduced pay. We resigned ourselves to the possibility that I would need to work too, in order to supplement our income. I researched daycare centers, and searched online for job opportunities. That’s when I stumbled across the idea of internet marketing. A quick search on internet marketing for moms soon had me clicking excitedly. That could be the solution.
Then my eyes began to glaze over. While pretty familiar with the internet, I had never considered internet marketing. That crowd, in my eyes, were charlatans, tricksters and scam artists. Still, there were moms who were earning supplemental income, or even a healthy living via online marketing. I like to know what I’m getting into, and internet marketing for moms sounded a little unrealistic. After all, I didn’t know anything at all about marketing, what was I supposed to promote, and how was I go to about it?
I spent a couple of weeks researching everything I could on internet marketing for moms. I found programs, read reviews, looked at the sites mentioned, and checked out as many articles on the specific programs as I could. I even signed up for a couple, before I really knew what I was doing, just trying to get a feel for it.
Some of the different programs I tried included Wealthy Affiliate university; Clickbank; Rags2Riches and Plug-in Profit. I looked at others, but these were the ones that consistently came up as good options for internet marketing for moms and stay at home parents.
Brief Review:After research, I chose to go with Wealthy Affiliate. Why? Because it doesn’t cost much to get set up, and it teaches you how to promote your products for free. The people there are very friendly and helpful, especially to newcomers. There’s a very comprehensive 8 week training program, their “8 Week Action Plan”. One I’d learned a little, I was able to put my training into effect right away, and they have a lot of free giveaways, tools to help you get the job done.
In conclusionI am excited about the residual income that is now trickling in via affiliate marketing. It suits me perfectly. I don’t have to own or sell anything, I only have to promote. And I’m promoting something that helped me and my husband get back on our feet.
